Instructor Farcia De’Toles-Medearis, a native of Liberia, West Africa, learned the power of rhythm and its natural healing connection firsthand. With those memories deeply embedded in her spirit and combined with her education, training, teaching and practice of dance, movement and massage, Farcia has infused this innate wisdom into her unique Natural Rhythm Healing Techniques since 2000.
Farcia coined the term Natural Rhythm Healing to describe her work. In its practice, Natural Rhythm Healing conscientiously embodies the breath through movement. Farcia has a vast background in the African Diaspora and in dance; she is a certified African Healing Dance Therapist. She has reached Black Belt level in Nia and has been licensed to teach Nia Technique since 2002. Since 1999, Farcia has been a certified massage therapist. Farcia received training in Health Education at San Francisco State University and is adept in designing movement for rehabilitation.
